It is with great enthusiasm that we are able to share this recording with you. The word anthems is defined as "songs of praise or gladness" which both perfectly describes this music as well as the respect and excitement with which we approached its performance and recording.

The music on this recording was chosen for a variety of reasons. Some pieces were selected because the players love them, others because they are favorites of the conductor! However, the common thread that brings together this collection of anthems is excellence. This is a wonderful, tuneful music that has enjoyed well-deserved recognition.
